GriefShare is a Bible based program that will help you learn how to walk the journey of grief and be supported along the way. It is a place where grieving people find healing and hope.
The format is a small group that gathers together weekly. Each week you will view a video seminar on a grief-related topic. The videos feature respected counselors and teachers who have
faced... their own grief and who share insights on how to walk through grief in a healthy manner. There are also personal testimonies of people who share their struggles and what has helped
them. After the video, you’ll spend time as a small group discussing the concepts on the video and how they apply to your day-to-day struggles and your life. The discussion time is moderated by a
GriefShare leader. You do not have to talk if you don’t want to.
This program is designed for adults 18 and older who have lost someone to death. Each participant will be given a workbook which you will use to help your healing process. It is best to bring your
Bible but it is not necessary as the scriptures are in the workbook.
The first session of GriefShare will be Sunday, February 5 at 3 PM in Parish House. Sessions will begin at 3pm and end no later than 5pm. The program lasts 13 weeks and you can join in at anytime.
The cost to participate is $20 to cover the workbook and refreshments. Scholarships are available. The program will be led by Linda Ehko who is a trained GriefShare group leader along with Patty
Clark & Nancy Diehl.
This program is open to anyone who desires help in coping with personal loss and grief. If you have a friend or family member who could use help walking thru grief, bring them along. Everyone is
