Our Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Everett United Methodist Church is to reach seekers, to teach believers, and to send disciples who will reach others with the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission Strategy

We will provide opportunities for people

1) to make personal commitments to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to the church

2) to develop a spiritual mature relationship with the Lord

3) to discover spiritual gifts and to develop the skills needed for Christian service

4) to use these gifts and skills in ways that present the love of Christ while meeting human need

Our Core Values

As we evaluate, plan and carry out the ministries of the Everett United Methodist Church, we will demonstrate these values through:

Personal Integrity

 - The ministry of God's people depends upon    influence.  Influence depends upon having personal intergrity in all that we do.

 - A Heart for the Least, the Last and the Lost

People are important to God and to us.  Their hurts, needs, and brokenness are opportunities for grace, not barriers.

Bibilical Authority

 - We will follow the guidance of scripture.

Intimacy with God

 - We have to walk daily with God, not just talk the "talk".

Servanthood

 - We do what we do because we are servants of God.

Spiritual reproduction

 - Our goal is to be partners with God in growing mature, fruitful Christians.

Therefore, we are committed to the following: 

• Worship that celebrates Jesus Christ, is biblically based, and relevant to people. 
• Excellence in all aspects of our ministry, mission and service. 
•  Reaching children, youth, and adults for Jesus Christ. 
• Helping families and strengthening marriages. 
• Helping each person mature in faith and find his or her service to the Lord.
